On first try and I hit the perfect shampoo for myself. So happy with it. I really have to wash my hair less often now!

This bar has a nice earthy aroma, quite pleasant as a soap bar for the body. I tried it as a shampoo for a week but it gave my hair a funny texture, less smooth & silky as it was before, so it wasn’t good for my hair type or my hair-washing frequency (thin, wavy, mid-length, washing every other day)

    • Inge says:

Hi Ingrid, Thanks so much for your comment! This shampoo bar is a hair soap and depending on the water hardness in your area, it might be tricky to use a hair soap. It’s recommended to use a vinegar rinse after washing. Mix 1L water with 1-2 tea spoons of apple cider vinegar and pour it over all your hair after washing. That makes is smoother.
An other alternative are solid shampoos. They work less like a soap but more like a liquid shampoo. You can find all solid shampoos here. For fine and wavy hair I’d recommend the solid shampoo with brokkoli seed oil or ShampooBit Honey.

With solid shampoo it’s important to use only a little bit. Make your hair entirely wet and then rub the bar over you head 2-3 times. That’s enough already. Put the bar aside and start kneading your hair to make foam. If it doesn’t foam much, rinse out and repeat but only rub the bar over your head 2-3 times.
With solid shampoo you don’t need a vinegar rinse afterwards.
