NoMorePlastic, founded in June 2018 by Ernst-Jan, was inspired by a tragic event. A pilot whale washed up in Thailand with 8 kilograms of plastic in its stomach. This, along with the plastic pollution Ernst-Jan saw in Samos, drove him to tackle the global plastic bag crisis.

Ernst-Jan works tirelessly to eliminate plastic bags from our environment. He envisions a future without disposable plastic bags, offering stylish, sustainable alternatives. These products include:

Driven by a passion for environmental change, Ernst-Jan’s NoMorePlastic plays a vital role in broader ecological efforts. The brand donates 5% of its proceeds to The Great Bubble Barrier. This project uses a bubble curtain to capture river plastic waste, protecting marine life and not disrupting shipping.
