Denttabs with fluoride are great way to reduce plastic-use in the bathroom. You can use these toothtabs
instead of toothpaste in plastic tubes.
The fluoride content is 1450 ppm.
They leave your teeth with an extra smooth, polished and clean feeling.
The fluoride helps remineralize the enamel to make your teeth strong. The soft polishing effect makes them a
great solution also for sensitive and damaged teeth.
Denttabs with Fluoride have a very fresh mint flavor. Store them in an airtight, dry container. This will protect the mint essential oil from evaporating. This way your toothtables stay longer fresh and minty.
They are entirely vegan, cruelty free and contain no micro-plastics.
100% natural ingredients:
DENTTABS toothpaste tablets carry the BDIH’s COSMOS seal for controlled natural cosmetics. (www.kontrollierte-naturkosmetik.de).
The main ingredient is micro-fine DENTTABS cellulose to gently and effectively polish your teeth
A small portion of silica against persistent teeth staining
Organic mint + menthol flavor for good taste and fresh breath
Surfactant – Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate (soap) – in order to reduce the surface tension of the teeth and to better distribute fluoride in the mouth
A minimum quantity stevioside to cover the slightly bitter taste of the silica
Some Vitamin C to stimulate salivation, especially in older people

I have only ever tried the Tooth Tabs from Lush before (but they come in plastic and have a lot of foaming agent in them). These come in a paper bag and I keep them in a small aluminium tin. At first, I thought they tasted a bit “stale” but if you keep chewing they will make a nice paste in your mouth. Very clean and fresh feeling, nice pleasant minty taste. My partner is a convert too!

I tried the dental tabs a few times, but I don’t have the ‘I just brushed my teeth’ feeling when I’m finished. So I bought a plastic-free toothpaste without fluoride to use together with the tablet (I do need the fluoride for my teeth since I have tooth-decay very easily). When I use both its fine.
I’ve been looking around for a good replacement, but pretty much every other plastic-free option doesn’t have fluoride in them, so for now I’ll be using the dental tabs in combination with another paste.
Love, love, love these tablets. It is so difficult to find plastic free tooth paste with fluoride, that I am happy these tablets works so well. These ones come in a paper bag and you can keep them in any airtight container (otherwise all your bathroom will smell like mint 🙂 ). I keep mine in a small glass jar at home, and in a small aluminium tin when travelling.
Note that it may take a bit to get used to. They may seem too dry at first when you chew on them. But chew a bit more, and after some 15 seconds they should have turned into a nice minty paste and you can brush your teeth normally.
I am surely not going back.!

Dear Margot, Thanks much for the reviews. Here are some alternatives, with and without fluoride. Maybe Ben & Anna Toothpaste with Fluoride would be good for you.
